Contract? Why do I have to be in a contract?

As a SME businessman, I really disliked the way I was forced into contracts for my business utilities to ensure I could keep my business running smoothly.

However, I was resigned to the fact that this is how it was, even though I was unable to secure contracts with my customers. I was placed in contracts with BT for my phone service and with Eon for my power. Eon even rolled my contract over on subsequent years at a HIGHER rate and because the letter explaining this wasn't a bill, it was placed in the "I'll sort that later" pile. And, of course, it never was.

So my overheads went up and I worked harder to pay them. I was placed in contracts from 12 months to 3 years - at a time when I wasn't even sure I would still be in business 3 years later!

I ended up working on my businesses in my 'home' time - when the working week was done. This meant often 'just popping to the office' to catch up on paperwork, where I would spend hours paying a mountain of invoices and preparing for the onslaught of the next week's trading.

My family missed me, I missed my family - but the business also needed me.

If only, if ONLY, I had known then what I know now - that there IS a utility provider that would have helped me free up some of that extra time I was committing to my business.

I discovered the Utility Warehouse through a friend. He assured me they would save me both time AND money, by providing a service that allows me to have my Phone Service, Broadband, Gas, Electricity, Mobile Phones and much of the business shopping all on ONE bill.

You also have your own Personal Account Manager to help ensure the switch runs smoothly. Any queries are sorted out with a quick call to them - or to the award-winning (and UK-based!) Utility Warehouse Customer Services centre. And problems are dealt with promptly and efficiently. This has freed me up to run my business and make time for those all important moments away from work.

And the REALLY best bit?

NO contracts!!!
